1984 HJR 1160 (procedures of the JNC’s) Provides that (1) all judicial nominating commissions operate under uniform rules and (2) the Sunshine Laws will be applicable to all meetings except JNC deliberations. Adopted:

During the 1996 Article V Task Force, the privacy of JNC deliberations became an issue. The Task Force narrowly passed a recommended that would have opened the deliberation process to the public. The proposal, however, was stripped from the proposal in the Legislature.

(November 4, 1986) 1985 HJR 386 (creates office of statewide prosecutor) Established the office of the statewide prosecutor, who has concurrent jurisdiction with state attorneys in cases involving crimes committed involving more than one circuit. Adopted:
