       The Committee on Education (Donalds) recommended the following:
       
    1         CRC Amendment 
    2  
    3         Delete lines 31 - 38
    4  and insert:
    5         college system. Members of a board of trustees must be
    6  residents of the service delivery area of the college. The board
    7  of directors shall affirm the powers and duties of the boards of
    8  trustees as prescribed by law. Each citizen member shall be
    9  appointed by the governor and confirmed by the senate.
   10         (d) STATEWIDE BOARD OF DIRECTORS. The board of directors
   11  shall be a body corporate consisting of seventeen members. The
   12  board shall be fully responsible
