       The Committee on Local Government (Nocco) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         CRC Amendment 
    2  
    3         Delete lines 62 - 68
    4  and insert:
    5         local law enforcement agencies in the prevention of
    6  terrorist acts and other crimes in the community, the county
    7  sheriff, in consultation with local stakeholders recognized in
    8  Florida statutes, shall have responsibility for the security of
    9  county-owned or operated courthouses, court facilities, and
   10  court service buildings. The sheriff’s authority shall include
   11  decision-making regarding the security of these courthouses,
   12  court facilities, and court service buildings, as well as local
   13  decisions regarding the administration and operations of the
   14  office of the sheriff that affect security and law enforcement.
