       Commissioner Plymale moved the following:
       
    1         CRC Amendment 
    2  
    3         Delete lines 24 - 37
    4  and insert:
    5  colleges.
    6         (c) LOCAL BOARDS OF TRUSTEES. Each state college system
    7  institution shall be governed by a local board of trustees
    8  dedicated to the purposes of the state college system. A member
    9  of a board of trustees must be a resident of the service
   10  delivery area of the college. The powers and duties of the
   11  boards of trustees shall be provided by law. Each member shall
   12  be appointed by the governor to staggered 4-year terms, subject
   13  to confirmation by the senate.
