       Commissioners Timmann and Nocco moved the following:
       
    1         CRC Amendment 
    2  
    3         Delete lines 249 - 254
    4  and insert:
    5         (g)(1) SELECTION AND DUTIES OF COUNTY OFFICERS.—Except as
    6  provided in this subsection, the amendment to Section 1 of this
    7  article, relating to the selection and duties of county
    8  officers, shall take effect January 5, 2021, but shall govern
    9  with respect to the qualifying for and the holding of the
   10  primary and general elections for county constitutional officers
   11  in 2020.
   12         (2) For Miami-Dade County and Broward County, the
   13  amendment to Section 1 of this article, relating to the
   14  selection and duties of county officers, shall take effect
   15  January 2, 2025, but shall govern with respect to the qualifying
   16  for and the holding of the primary and general elections for
   17  county constitutional officers in 2024.
