ARTICLE VI: SUFFRAGE AND ELECTIONS, New Section.

Catchline: Proportional Allocation of Electors to the Electoral College for the President of the United States of America.

The electors for the Electoral College from the State of Florida shall be allocated proportionally to the number of votes cast for each eligible candidate. An eligible candidate is any candidate for whom the number of votes cast exceed the total number of votes cast divided by the number of electors allocated to the State of Florida plus one vote for the general election for President of the United States for which the candidate is standing for election, here after referred to as one slot. Candidates receiving less than one slot will receive no electors.

Eligible candidates will be allocated one elector for each whole slot recieved.

The eligible candidate with the most votes remaining after all electors are allocted by the number of whole slots received shall receive the first remaining elector. The eligible candidate with the second most votes remaining shall receive the second remaining elector, if any and so on. If electors still remain after all eligible candidates have received an elector for their remaining votes, the eligible candidate with the highest number of total votes will receive the next elector. The eligible candidate with the next highest number of total votes will recieve the next elector. Allocation of additional electors will continue to accrue in this manner until all electors are allocated to an eligible candidate.
